Searching in other drives than c:\ doen't show results in start panel

Hello,

I just acquired start8 after using it on trial for a while and liking it.

However I thought the update to 1.01 would solve a problem. I would like to be able to search on other drives than c:\ like I was used to in windows 7. when I've got a doc file on e:\ and i search for it , i only get it in the results when I click the advanced search button so the explorer opens, but I would like to see it in the start panel as well so i can directly click it. I miss being able to quicksearch for some *.cfg files and imediately edit it. That doesn't seem to work if it's on another drive. But both c:\ and e:\ drivers are indexed in the main windows search item.


Am I missing something ?

I was sure I had answered this one, but I guess not.

 

Try adding the following registry key :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8

FullSearch = 1

Thats type REG_SZ.
