Get back short cut to start screen after unpin from start 8

In start 8, there was a pinned (start 8) icon which when I click on it, will activate windows 8 start screen. recently I just unpinned it, how did I pin it back to start 8?

If you delete the SetupLnk value from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8 and sign out on your Windows machine you should find it is back when you sign back in again.

I just purchased Start8 license. Is there some way to configure Start8 to turn back on the desktop (link) to the Windows8 (Start) Menu when the cursor is moved off screen in the lower-left hot corner (from the desktop)?

I see the link to the Windows8 (Start) Menu is added to the Start8 Menu, but that requires an extra click/touch.

I was previously using Classic Start Menu and it allowed the lower left hot corner to the Windows8 (Start) Menu to still be active from the desktop. I thought Start8 could do this also, but no configuration option seems to enable it.

You can add a registry key to enable that.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8

AllowStartHotCorner = 1

Then sign out and sign back in and it should be functional.
