[Bug] Kidnapper quest completed, no reward

So there is a quest called kidnappers and when you get to the location you get three options.  Of course I choose to rescue them so I can enslave them within my empire and get experience for thrashing their captors.  Besides, I don't pay for slaves  .  So once the beatings have been administered it says that you get a free pioneer unit, which I desperately needed.  However the unit never appears.  I have the save if you need it, just tell me where to put it.  I will upload screenshots when I figure out a better way to do it.
