Can we start downloading on steam--it does not give a version number and do not want to re-download the beta

Yeah but it has it's pluses--I am the absent minded professor type and was constantly losing discs for games so now i do not have to worry about it. When i want to ply something i can download it play it until i am bored and then wipe it and if i feel like playing again in a year it is in my library to play without having to tear apart the house looking for it.

If I remember correctly, the .992 beta version was 3 gig and the 1.00 version is 3.5 gig. You should probably be able to download it.

It said a little over an hour ago, "coming soon unlocked in 1 hour."

 

Now it doesn't say anything, and starting fires up .992

Maybe Steam is setting it for download now. My steam changed from showing a Purchase button (with immediate access to beta) to just a Pre-Purchase button now.
