(Request) Desktop (Create Shortcut) and or Send to?

Is there any chance you could add a "Desktop (Create Shortcut)" item and or the "Send To" item when right clicking programs on the All Programs menu on Start8?

Thanks

I think think this would be a very handy feature from the Windows 7 start menu :)

Thanks

I desperately want this feature. My only true gripe that bugs the hell out of me is a way to easily make desktop shortcuts in windows 8. Please add this feature.

I found that while searching all programs in start8 you can right click on a program and go to file location. This brings up explorer where you can right clink and access the traditional send to --> create desktop shortcut option. The final step does require renaming the shortcut for a clean look. So Stardock this hopefully is not to hard to emulate withing the start8 menu. I really love your app. It has helped me greatly with my transition to Windows 8.

I too would find that small addition very useful. So let me add my name to the virtual list for that request as well.

Even though it makes typing difficult. . . fingers crossed.

I have had Start8 installed since November and found that I have a right click send to desktop ( create shortcut ) item on the all programs menu.

I've installed it on several other computers but have been unable to activate this feature elsewhere.

I'm not sure how I got it in the first place but it would be nice to know should anyone figure it out.

A bit late maybe, but does anyone know why it would be missing on my W8 Pro desktop, yet it's there on my W8 Pro laptop. Really odd that its missing on the desktop. I've tried adding via the context menu as seen here, but with no luck.

Any help appreciated.
