missing uploads

from WinCustomize Forums
I just (yesterday or two days ago, can't remember) submitted two wallpapers, but they don't show anymore anywhere and I haven't got any mails about them either. earlier they did show on the "My Skins" page, saying something like "waiting for approval", but don't show there anymore either.

Hmmm, just looked and I don't see them around. My only guess is that one of the admins moderated them. Since they didn't drop you a note I don't know what the issues were. You can always try again.

I don't know if its a standard procedure to mail the author if any of the submissions aren't posted on the site, but it sure is nice to hear something. If it is, I don't know what happened to my reply.

If it isn't, big thanks to DavidK who took the time on my earlier submissions.

I don't remember moderating any of your uploads Nite. And I can't imagine someone not sending out the e-mail if they did.
Something must have happened to them, but I don't know what.
Can you tell me the titles of the pieces, and I'll take a look around?

Our moderators do try to send emails when they moderate a skin. But its not a written policy that they must do so. Things get a bit busy at times so its possible that someone didn't send an email due to time restraints.

i don't remember seeing those myself, but i know at times the emails to authors hit a glitch. it happens only rarely though. personnaly, i'd never moderate something and not send the email

Ditto for me....my guess is the email/s are 'Lost In Space'....[I blame Will Robinson]....
