I discovered this bug by accident but I have replicated 3x now
Click on a city
click build
select demolish
click on a building
say "no" I don't want to demolish
Now hold down shift and roll mouse wheel - crash

You may ask what was I doing? Well I didn't realise I had demolish selected and I was trying work out how to rotate a building.
You should really rename the title to [Crash] not bug.
I reproduced the bug by selecting the demolish tool then holding shift and rolling the mousewheel. Don't need your extra steps.
A crash occurs because of bugs in the software - its all semantics. No need to be pedantic I am just trying to help out.
The change in title was to let the devs know that this is a high priority item to be fixed. I was not trying to be pedantic or say you were being unhelpful. I know that it is a bug. I was trying to help you, help the dev's out when reading the forums, per their faq.
Playing with it some more I also found out that the clear forest causes the same crash.
Select clear forest. Hold shift and roll the mouse wheel. Crash.
*bump* don't want this to get buried as it's easily reproducable.
I think the bug team is on vacation anyways
