[Bug] Avatars still missing

from Elemental Forums

With one particular computer, I still cannot see my avatar in the selection screen, equip/trade screen, etc.  This is a computer at work, so there is little in the way I can do in terms of drivers and such.  But I thought you might want to know.


Hardware

ATI Radeon HD 5450

 

Software

ATI Driver version 8.821.0.0  from 1/26/2011

Windows 7 64 bit Professional

 

It likely is an outdated driver issue, and I will look into the possibility of updating.

Updated my video card driver on that computer, and the avatars are still missing.

Try running the game with /nomultisample

See if this fixes your problem.

edit: mispelled /nomultisample

The parameter is /nomultisample and it will be fixed in the next patch (so you dont need the special command line parameter to resolve it).
