How to disable the "create fences" feature when I drag a rectangle using left mouse button?

I think the title say it all. I've just upgraded to Fences 2 beta because of the folder portal (and also desktop pages). However, I cannot drag a rectangle to select many items like before because a pop-up window automatically appears and asks me to create another fences with those items. In the past, it only happened when I used my right mouse button, but now...

The left-button drag has always been the default Fence maker.  You can select icons with the right button.  

Or . . are you left-hand mousing and have switched the buttons?

That's weird. As far as I can remember, right-button drag has always been the default Fence maker. Well, both left and right-button dragging do the same in Fences 2 beta anyway so there's not much difference.

PS: just realize that if I move the mouse away for a while, the "Create Fence from these icons" pop-up will disappear eventually but still, that's kind of annoying :(.

Shoot.  I got my left and right confused (again).

Open up task manager and sort CPU, Handles, and Threads (highest to lowest) and post screenshot here.  Thanks.

Hmm, I don't think it's a bug but rather a setting in Fences 2. Anyway, here is the screenshot that you asked for :).

+1 on the annoyance level for using left mouse button and having Fences config pop up.  For some, I can see it being convinient.  For me, serious annoyance.  Make this an option please.  Left, Right, Both.

I also find this quite annoying, there should be an option to disable fence creation upon left-button drag. Please include such option in the final release.

Bumping this.
The 2.0.02 version is super awesome and fast compared to last beta I tried. Right up to the point I drag a rectangle on my desktop.

1) Pretty pretty please let the fences only create on right-button drag like it used to be.
2) OR disable (at least) the left button creating when fences are locked. It makes no sense, I locked it - it's supposed to be locked and not let kids (or me) wreak havoc and create new ones! :D

Hey Stardock staff, I think this needs some attention. I agree, and think that there needs to be an option to removing the "create fence here" or make it right drag only.

Hello! I registered here only to bump this thread. 

I just downloaded the latest Fences and was thinking of buying the pro version, BUT I am not overreacting by saying the new version is unusable. The "new feature" to create a fence by dragging a box with the left mouse button is the worst thing you could do. It makes simple tasks as selecting multiple icons a pain.

Please, please remove it or at least add the option to disable the LMB creation of a fence.
