Has anybody heard of Web Blogs?

Well......??? Have you? I is a online site that basically does news reports on anything you want to report on. I guess. I just heard of it in a actical from the New York Times. I do not understand it fully but it seems interesting to creat your own news on stuff you like (or don't like).

It's the latest trendy thing to have on your web site. It's NetTalk for "Web Logs", and all it is really is a journal.
With all the reality TV going on, people want to read about people real life now. So, the trendy thing is to keep an online journal and talk about your everyday life for everybody to read. Used to be "Guestbooks", now you gotta have a Blog if you want to be hip.
Tech TV covered the topic a few times:

Here's my favorite where I just lurk. Extremely interesting, well-written and thoughtful. (He's a friend of Brad's and also hangs out on some of the StarDock news groups, which is where I found out about it):

I spend quite a bit of time on the blogs.
Here's one of my favorites:

This site has an abundance of links to many other blogs, most of which are very good reading.

Probably the easiest blog to implement on your own website is Blogger http://www.blogger.com

If you want to learn more, go there and read up on the tutorials.

Crae - I don't think that blogging will every die out now. It's such an easy way to keep a site updated with news (especially for the casual user that doesn't have/care/know about PHP).

I use it on my sites and my friend uses it on her site to let all her family and friends know about how her baby is doing. She's almost 100% clueless about website development (I've shown her how to add pictures to her picture gallery and that's it) and she has no problem posting updates.

I'm not saying it will die out, just that the peak is passed. It is indeed a good way of keeping your site "updated". It reminds me of the net before the corporate colloses took over (back when sites still freely linked to other sites). Nothing new really.

Yep. I've heard of 'blogs. I don't have one - I have an online journal instead. I just prefer the journal format to the blog one.
