[Bug 0.915] Attacked on game initiaton

Started as Paradin. Game start spawned me on three 5 hpts wolves. Hasted myself and went into melee. Could not beat them and game ended. Could be bad way for game to start for new people who buy game at release. More opinion than bug.

LOLZ.

Funny and sad at the same time. Obviously something that shouldn't of happened, but you've just won the 'shortest game ever' award.

Great find.

Currently the monsters have the first turn, then the AI players in order of side number after 1, then the human player.  The monster and AI turn happen immediately.  However there is also a bug that enables wolves to move their full movement on the first turn only, rather than just 1 square as happens to all monsters.  There have been some suggestions put forward, including skipping the monster turn on Season 1, and making it impossible for any monster to attack in Season 1 (the first turn).  As well as fixing the bug that enables wolves (and any other unit that's affected, if any) to move up to their full (in the case of wolves, 4 squares) movement in the first turn.

I had a simular exp. it seems to be a hotfix (? is that the proper term) and another thing'

I still have aproblem with the %10 exchange rate at the mall. I believe that there should be a %10 exchange on items you purchase and then sell... but items you gain in combat...pelts skath fins high level weapons (that can not be produced by your faction) should have a higher value. The current %10 rate makes it not even worth traviling back to town to sell. A higher price on won/discovered items would certainly make the risk of attacking stronger monster worth the risk and going to town to sell them worth the time. It would also help your faction to grow financially early in the game. Perhaps a supply - demand system also as the wolf pelt inventory rows the price drops. Just a thought... but it sure is frustrating to aquire a 8th level sword worth 1800 in the early seasons but only getting 180 at the local pawn and fleece shop.

Also while I'm typing what was mean't by a few weeks? today is the beginning of the third week yes? A new progress report would be nice.

Risk - reward / Supply - demand anyone with me? (and yes I do understand the programming invovled) so a happy medium to start?

Thanks for your time and attention fellow FE waiters.

Oh just saw your huge post, I recommend keeping this discussion in your post, and thanks for putting it another post, to not derail this important post ;). I would really like to see this of all bugs fixed, since its one of the worst starts on a game I can imagine.

Sincerely
