I'd like to buy this for windows XP but I'm wondering what features will NOT work as i understand many of the animations and such are ONLY for Win7? This should really be listed on the website explicitly as i was VERY disappointed in WinFX4 on XP.
WindowFX 5 on Windows XP is very similar in feature set to WindowFX 4 on Windows XP. There are no animations at all on that OS. For animations you would need to use WindowFX 3 on XP.
In short if WindowFX4 wasn't exciting for you on Windows XP then I would imagine WindowFX 5 will also be disappointing on Windows XP.
The bulk of the new things are Windows 7 only.
What about these 2 features:
Make the active window stand out, make inactive windows fade away and automatically minimize background windows.
WindowFX has a "window flick" option that allows you to add movements, fade windows and add speed to quickly throw your windows around your monitor.
