Multiplayer Desync, any news?

I understand that it's a know bug, but is there any new news? I've seen that there has been supposed fixes in the changelog, but I just tried to play multiplayer again with friends and 2 of us desync'd. We were in a game of 4 all allied with each other against 3 hard computers and 1 unfair. The game didn't even get to the first pirate raid before desyncing. 2 of us were still sync'd while the other two were sync'd with each other. It's really frustrating as this happened two times in a row. My friend basically quit out of the game as soon as he found out it happened. He no longer even wants to play them game as the last time this happened we spent 2 hours and 5 different games trying to get it to not bug out and that was with 2-3 people. This game was a lot of fun for us, but now it's only met with frustration. I was the biggest fan, but even I find it more of a task to open the game and play it. Hell, I don't even want to try the Vasari now. We were all excited about it until this happened again.

There's no way I'd be able to get all of them to cooperate sending in the logs that they require. Is there any news on the information they've already received?

Desync issues can be very hard to find, but remember this is still beta. If it's too frustrating, you could always take comfort in the fact that in one month it will be fun to play again. The game WILL be worked on for this entire time, both balance and bugs.

Of course I could have sworn the desync issue was fixed, even I experienced my first desync today. It could be a new one since they introduced an entire 3rd of coding.

Yea, same problem here, it was a 3 player free for all and I got desynced while my 2 friends who were allied were ok.

I understand it's beta, we had a really good game going and sucks to have these desyncs. We then played a 1vs1 without any problems. I can't wait for final version.

Here's my issue. There's a month left and this issue, which is apparently very hard to figure out, keeps appearing. There's no actual promise that it'll be fixed by the time the game comes out and I fear that they'll say it's fixed just like with the last patch notes and we'll get a full game with this bug still there. It's not like other game companies have done it before. Call me jaded, but I worry about it.

i have a friend who does like like playing against the computer i gifted him the game on steam after years fo trying to get him to play sins and he is only interested in pvp and all of his games have dysynced and i dont think he is going to play anymore.

im happy enough against the AI . PVP games are not for me (too rushed and no pauses)

I enjoy playing against the AI, but I enjoy it even more if it's me and my friends against the AI. It's always fun to get a single player game going, but it gets boring pretty quickly when you either become a powerhouse or become overwhelmed easily. Winning and losing is just better to me when you have friends.

Also what was really strange about my desync was the fact that we didn't even know until the end, there was no warning like sins never even detected the desync.

I don't think Sins has a method for detecting desyncs, but you have to look for strange signs such as your ally having no planets except for his home planet 20 minutes into the game, or asking you to defend a planet that hasn't even been colonized yet. Or bragging about his Titan when he only has 3 planets and no Titan foundry. Or when he/she asks you the same things.

My first match went flawlessly, but the next set of matches I tried to set with my friends all desync'd right at game launch. We checked file integrity and it checked out okay. Very frustrating.
