Advent Cap Ships have wrong abilities?

I was playing a game earlier and happened to look at this enemy ship.. why does it have retaliation? Those Advent capitol ships don't have that ability. It even has the two little light things above it.

I also noticed that my allies somehow had way more powerful auto-cannons than me (I had 25 attack and they had 29 on Kodiak) even though we were both rebel TEC with all our pacts with eachother and I had all the researches for auto-cannons. Why?

Retaliation can be cast on any allied ship. It doesn't have to be on the Rapture who used that ability.

Wow.. really? I had no idea. I always just had it set on auto and it cast retaliation upon itself. I'm surprised the AI is smart enough to do that.

It's much more effective if you micro it. Particularly if animosity is running on a radiance, or a ship is being focus fired.

Yea I love that combo, its very effective. Unfortunately its also a really fast way to lose a radiance in a big battle :-) > But hey, if you've got a mothership with resurrection around, no harm no foul
