Why is Object Dock Plus not included?

I just bought Object Desktop Suite... and began installing things only to find out that Object Dock Plus is not included? Huh?

I had hoped of doing a whole UI makeover with DesktopX and Object Dock... but quickly found out that DesktopX is a separate download and Object Dock Plus is a separate purchase!

It just doesn't make sense to me that you would create an all you can eat option... and say you'll get all future stuff too... just NOT Object Dock Plus. Confusing. I'm sure I'm not the only one misled.

Please add Object Dock Plus to the suite.

Thank you,

You weren't misled...it's always been that way. Would have been nice if Objectdock was included all those years ago when I first purchased ODNT but it wasn't. And DesktopX should be included with your ODNT (ObjectDesktop) purchase. When you consider all the stuff you get with ODNT it's a pretty good deal...and once you make the separate purchase of ODPlus 2 the pain you think your feeling right now subsides pretty quick.

Object Desktop suite clearly states that Object Dock Plus and DesktopX are not included in the package here: https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/information.asp

These are the only applications included in the Object Desktop suite:

Tiles

WindowBlinds

Deskscapes

Fences Pro

IconPackager

SkinStudio

and Theme Manager

lilB.....look again.  DesktopX is included.

Introduction

Object Desktop is a suite of desktop enhancement utilities designed to let users turbo-charge Windows.
The core programs of Object Desktop 2010 include:

With Tiles you can quickly view and manage your running applications by simply looking to the edge of your screen.

A program that can customize the look and feel of the entire Windows graphical user interface by applying new “skins” that change title bars, taskbars, scrollbars, and nearly every other part of Windows.

A program that lets users customize their wallpapers or even apply  animated wallpapers (there are hundreds of free animated wallpapers available to choose from).

A program that lets users organize the icons on their desktops into groups of easily manageable “fences”.

A program that can apply new icons themes by loading up a package of icons.

A program that makes it easy for users to create their own user interfaces to apply to Windows.

Theme Manager
A program that ties it all together. Get your desktop just the way you want and save it or apply themes created by others that include WindowBlinds, IconPackager, DeskScapes and other customization program content.

In addition Object Desktop users get a host of other programs to enhance Windows such as DesktopX, WindowFX, IconDeveloper, SoundPackager, Keyboard LaunchPad, and more.
Users of Object Desktop don’t just get what is in Object Desktop today but also everything released or updated for it in the year after purchase.  Even now, Stardock’s developers are working on programs that can give new options to Windows 7 users, get the most out of Windows XP, Vista, and more.
Object Desktop is only $49.95. For users who want to keep getting updates to the programs after the first year, they can renew their access for only $34.95!

These are the current apps included , and DesktopX is in the list.https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/information.asp

There are free versions of both OD and CFX that you can use with limted functions. They are both stand-alones. A stand-alone purchase gives you all updates until the next version number. They often go on sale, so watch for them at a reduced price. ;)
