Who hasn't had one of these from time to time. Walk into a room and forget why you did or go out to the store and forget what to buy. I think we all have at one time or another.

Aw hell yeah.... Doing it almost on a daily basis.

/me has got the memory "of a goldfish"

When it's at its worse I can be sitting down, get up to get something and by the time I'm standing up have forgotten what it was.....

40+ years living with a chockingly bad memory sure isn't fun - not at all!
I've given up on writeing down appointments, on paper. I keep forgetting where the f*** I put the notes.
My calendar on my mobile is packed with stuff I have to remember, from dentist appointments, down to very basic, daily tasks.

The worst part of it all is.... When I forget something I am fully aware that I have forgotten something - I am rarely able to 'pick up' on what I have forgotten.
It's a friggin nightmare, sometimes.

Yeah, I have a problem with.... er, sometimes I.... uh, I was gonna say something here but..... was I gonna say something?

I have great difficulty remembering names... the names of actors, the names of musicians, the names of movies and music... and sometimes the names of people I haven't seen so recently.

My worst habit is putting something in places it clearly does not belong.... and then forgetting where the f**k I put it... like the time I bought a new hammer while out shopping for groceries.  In my haste to get the frozen goods/cold things put away, I put the hammer in the fridge... wasn't until I had given up looking for it a couple of hours later [I had intended to do a repair job] that I found it.  Yup, I went to the fridge for a beer and lo and behold, there was the f**king hammer.

True storyo_O

Not understanding... how the external link is tied to the OP (whose time stamp is pretty close to the time stamp here:  https://forums.wincustomize.com/417521/page/13/#3143193 ). Not that it has to be and no criticism implied, mind you... just wondering how.
End of DrJBHL's quote

I have no clue. How'd that happen? o_O

Nice job you old fart.

Sticky notes I say. Hundreds and hundreds of sticky notes will get you by. This of course is as long as you can remember where you put the pad to write the next one.

Great flick if you haven't seen it.

But, the post wouldn't be complete if I didn't explain what I had to do to get the name of the movie.

After trying for at least a full minute of starring off into space, unable to remember the movies name, I entered "Movie about memory loss" into Google and

"Momento" was first on the list.  Oh, yeah, "Momento", damn, what a space case.

Hehe, I ran into Al Zheimer once... he reckoned the best way to forget was to drink until you're pickled.

He might have a point there, but I reckon it'd be better on the liver and a lot cheaper not to remember it in the first place.

I don't remember why I came here. o_O

Duck's bottoms leave skid marks.

Only on the lawn in the park... not in the pond. ;)

So I gots to wade in the pond in order to avoid dealing from the bottom of the duck. Not nice. lol
