DesktopX: NEED HELP!!!!

Everytime i open a theme or object for DesktopX it says "This file doesn't appear to be a valid DesktopX theme" What could I do???

Try opening a old object (the objects can be opened when using the version of desktopx is created); see the date of uploading at Wincustomize, and try to download a object created before june 2001. If the object opens, you need to update your Desktopx version (maybe you need purchased desktopx). If not opens, try reinstalling desktopx. IF NOT opens, try reinstalling your Windows. If noting happens, purchase a newest computer!

I just have a new computer! What could I do??? Or I think I need to download again. Wheres the best place to download it? The official website and Cnet does not work.
