SLI Benchmarks - Rebellion anyone?

Can anyone confirm that there is any benefit in running dual GPU (SLI) in Rebellion.  I know it is not developed specifically to take advantage of this, but I wondered if it has any effect at all.

Rebellion is about the only thing I play lately, and I am considering getting a matching card for my current. However if there is little gain I will not rush out to get one right away as the price will half in just months I'm sure. But if Sins gets a visual boost I'd fork out now.

I have a single GTX550ti which at 1440 x 900 plays with everything at highest very well until HUGE fleet battles. But I just bought a new monitor with higher resolutions. However when increasing the resolution in game to match the game is definitely suffering. If a 2nd card can recover this I'm sold!

Does anyone run SLI and can they confirm performance improvement over running on one card?

Cheers!

Even if it supported SLI, better choice for you IMHO is to sell the 550 and buy something stronger, gtx560,570 or upcoming 660/670. That would be enough to play the game on fullHD and max graphical settings.

Rebellion seems to have a serious problem with SLI for the verious thread on the forums.

I havent tried it, but would not reccomend attempting it.
