Upgrade from WB3.0 to WB3.1A

Is it possible to do this? I have not tried to install 3.1A over 3.0 yet, I just wanted to make sure that it is possible first.

Yes. Unload WindowBlinds first and reboot when prompted.

I installed 3.1A upgrade to my registered copy of 3.0, and found that my "favorites" drop-down menu from the IE tool bar was no longer visible. Any others with this problem? Was was the upgrade all about, how does it differ from 3.0?

Oh, yea, in addition to my "favorites", my start menu also seemed to have taken a hiatus. Ultimately, I had to uninstall/reinstall WB3.0.
