lets see, where to start? i know, a seesaw
/me gathers together a crowd of pixies to help with the construction

we clear a suitable area not far from OC's tree house. first things first, a nice covering over the entire area of short, soft and springy moss there, a nice soft and safe floor for the play area

now for the seesaw. first up a nice solid plank on a pivot. we have broken with tradition, and used a deep green emerald for the seesaw and pivot we needed something solid that wouldnt get eaten in the first 3 minutes

also, the translucent effect is really lovely

as we test it *WEEE* *BOUNCE* *CRASH* *WEEE*
we are noticing that it needs some padding at each end, otherwise it comes down with far to much of a crash and a thud. that is the one thing with the emerald, it is fairly heavy.

it looks like we are going to need some buffers. who would have thought this would have been a problem? *innocent expression number 38*

quickly we set up a large number of strong straps, both on the ground under the seesaw, and on the ends of the seesaw its self. so, if we now get fuzzy and werewolf positioned correctly, they will provice buffers with their upthrust bottoms

however, i am not sure if spanking them with the hard and heavy end of the emerald seesaw every time it comes crashing down is really fair. we need some padding on the seesaw as well as the ground....

so, we need two petite, and naughty people....
yep, it looks like it is going to have to be GM and JavaBean

now all we need is a nice padded cat bed in the middle of the seesaw, over the pivot, so i can settle down, and set it swiging and spanking with the minimum of effort and work

this is a lovely contraption, it really is
with the absolute minimum of effort i can get 4 very naughty people spanked again and again and again

it has been pointed out that werewolf isnt really around much at the moment

however, all is not lost, since MadIce seems to be being very naughty! so, MadIce will just have to take werewolfs place for now

I'm sorry I haven't been around much...my new job is in an unairconditioned warehouse and I carry around large, heavy boxes all day, so when I get home I soak in a cold shower and crash out heavy. For some reason, this also affects my reasoning abilities so I have a hard time typing anything coherent . I have been trying to follow along with the exploits on the Chocolate Planet though...I certainly haven't been deliberately ignoring anybody. This treasure seems to be the only safe place to go to recently.

work has been getting a bit like this at the moment! it has been VERY hot, considering our normal temperatures, in england today. i am just so glad i took extra ice cubes into work with me i was eating them most of the day. even with that i wasnt really in a fit state to speak to anyone for several hours after i got home.

This treasure seems to be the only safe place to go to recently.

i dont seem to be getting here as much as i would like myself, but from what little i have seen the message board seems to be going through another ruff and painful time *sigh*

it is at times like this that i am really glad we have this place

Poor old Fuzzy. Just doesn't understand what real heat is. In Texas it's 97+ and it's forcast to go higher. Add in the humidity and it's around 107-109. Can't even breathe. Glurpidity blurp. Gloorp. My sister and her daughter got home on saterday from a vacation to Turkey. They told it was extremely hot there, even for the Turkish people there. 53+ Celsius is way too hot for anybody, including animals. Birds would not fly. Horses were exhausted. The only safe places were in the shade.

Michigan just snapped out of our hot spell.  It was in the upper 80's for quite some time and we get a lot of humidity from the great lakes.  It's now in the mid to upper 70's which is what I prefer (but the humidity has gone up and we keep getting bad thunderstorms.....)  Nice thing about Michigan weather: you always have something to complain about

It's (moan) too (moan) damned hot (moan, whinge). Don't you just hate it when your raspberry ripple ice-cream turns into a warm drink...

for some strange reason the info from the news that tomorrow is likely to be the hotest day *ever* in England didnt cheer me up much. this is just not normal weather for England.

In Arizona (or was it Utah or Nevada?) it was so hot (110f) that car windows exploded and dogs burned their feet on the sidewalks (accoring to one news report) a few days ago. We are hot here too, the trades are gone. People walk around with beads of either sweat or condensation on their faces.

On the Chocolate Planet in the Fantasyland Forest behind Old Crabs Treehouse there's a cool, clear, aquifer pool. There's drinks that magically appear as if Laid-off Keebler Elves brought them. Shhhhhhh, don't tell anyone or the whole Planet may invade Old Crabs Cocoa Plantation.
