[Possible Bug] Pirate Pileup!

I was several hours into my first beta 2 game and noticed all the pirates going towards their base. Looking further I saw fleets would phase into the pirate base and just pile up. At the time I took the screenshot there was a total of 1039 pirate ships! I haven't had time to replicate. Anybody else have this problem? Was single player 3v3 on gateway with unfair AI.

Holy shit! How far into the game is this and with how many TEC Rebels did you play?

Game was 3-4 hours in. 1 TEC rebel, 2 TEC loyalists, 2 advent loyalist, 1 advent rebel.

Yep, a common issue since the Original Sins. In the Distant Stars mod we designed the ships that are used for raiding to self destruct after a time. Wish the devs would do the same as this can be a very parasitic drag on the CPU.

I had used DS in the original sins so I guess thats why I never noticed. It starts lagging pretty bad in the planets surrounding the pirate base. I can't clear them out. All the fleets just die pretty much instantly.

Odd. In my beta two games I noticed the AI stopped spawning raids for players it couldn't possibly attacked. No idea what got into the AI there.

Wow, I was expecting another photo with 100 ships tops, that... is pretty impressive.
