Win 8

I've looked around your site but can't any news about progress to make Blinds work with Win 8 so apologies if I missed i t! Anyway, I only bougth Blinds recently for Win 7 and loved it. But for various reasons am now running the consumer preview of Win 8 and greatly miss my blinds.

As you must have had access to Win 8 for some time already, how far along the road are you or are MS still messing around with final specs?

Since Windows 8 is still an early beta app, a compatible version of WindowBlinds isn't available.  When it gets closer to release is when apps will be more compatible and updated.

The near certainty of this is a main factor in why we haven't updated everything yet.  The difference between the Developer and Consumer previews was not trivial, so who knows what changes will come next.

IMO a consumer 'preview' is just that......a preview of what's to come. At this point nothing is written stone. Its more for gathering feedback, to get an idea of what the public thinks about the new OS or, at least, it should be. Whether or not Microsoft takes these 're-views' into consideration though is another story.
