dx & limewire

I don't know if anyone actually uses lime wire, but I tried to create an object/shortcut to the program, but for some odd reason it doesn't work. even linking it to the shortcut in the start menu doesn't seem to result in any progress. If anyone knows what I can do to get this to work, it would be very much appreciated!!

Try linking it to C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1\bin\java.exe

I got that, but all it does is act like the program opens (the little hour glass appears briefly), and then nothing...I don't get why, that's pretty retarded

a HA! got it...

it seems when I would "browse" to select the shortcut in the start menu it would then automatically link it to the jave.exe (which didn't run). So by manually typing in that I wanted it to run "limewire 1.8c.lnk" it would work! oo-de-lally!
