Sins live IRC-type chat room

Now that we're all going to be using Steam, I thought it might be nice if we started using the chatroom function that's built into Steam similar to  how people used to use Internet Relay Chat (IRC).  You can hang around in the chat room even if you don't have Steam open.

If you guys join my Sins group then you can idle in the chat room.

It's too bad there isn't a way, as far as I know, to set up a PUG match bot program for organizing PUGs like you can on IRC.

Well, yeah...but it seems like the vast majority of modern gamers have never heard of IRC before and wouldn't know how to access it.  What's nice about Steam is that since they already have Steam installed, they can easily access a Steam-based chatroom.

Sadly, some things have come up and I'm not going to have the time needed to spend much time in the chatroom.

I'd rather use an IRC channel geared for generic Sins talk than your Steam chat room which seems dedicated to mulitplayer, at least judging by the group it is part of.
