Use recent survey coupon from Stardock on pre-order?

So I got this email from Stardock with a survey, and upon completion it gives a code for 10% off a Stardock purchase.

 

I was curious, if there is any way this could be used on my pre-order that I made back in April 2011?

Well the preorder won't be charged until tomorrow, so if you can quickly cancel it and repreorder with the coupon that should work...
