[CRASH][0.77] Game crashes to desktop when loading ANY save file

The game was running fine for the most part until last night. It would crash every now and then, but I would just close it and reload the game, and that would generally fix it. So last night it crashed, so I left the game, and when I try to load my game today, it's not loading. It says "Elemental: Fallen Enchantress has stopped working" and only lets me close the program. I tried to load another save file, but now I can't load from ANY save file for that game (and we're talking 300+ turns). I can create a new game, but can't load any of my old saves, so that game is gone it seems. I updated my graphics drivers, turned off firewall/antivirus, etc, and still nothing.

That's my debug, crash, and save file. Wasn't doing anything interesting, might have had a fight or 2 that turn, but can't remember.

You have the same line at the end of the debug err that I do.  

"Debug Message:  Could not find tech category with name Unique"
 
There have been several reports of this.  It appears to happen after the arena or any other encounter where you fight multiple opponents in succession.  It also may or may not be caused by getting legendary equipment.  I'm leaning toward the latter because the the debug message above.

Yes! That's it, the Arena. I had just fought that group of 4 baddies in the arena, and I won it and all, but after that is when the big time crashes started. Now I can't even load any save game, so I don't know what happened.

The devs think that it was a bug where completing a quest that unlocks a tech was causing file game corruption (because I think the legendary armor quest was only 1 battle from memory).

Same has happened to be me, three times now (I like to be thorough when corrupting my save files).  Every time I get the legendary armor from the arena it corrupts the file.  

Lesson learned... you don't need legendary armor.  It's, obviously, the devil.

Actually, you get Legendary *Weapons* from the Arena quest.  It is a different quest that you get Legendary Armor from (but I think the LA quest is only one battle).

yea, they were both broken... next patch!  and btw, they are sweet and it's totally worth it when they work ;)
