all ships in combat starts at same line

huge fleet combats is fun to watch, but when i want to see the combat scene now all the friendly and foe ships starts at the same line, and just looks silly.

any one else has this problem, and anyone know how to fix?

Take a look in the Modding forums. there are more than a few weapon mods that spruce up the combat scenes.
As for something to alter the way the combat begins, nothing iv'e seen will do that, try changing your camera angles for a different perspective.

oh, i dont want to mod the combat scenes. thers somting wrong with my game.

ships are supose to start like this:

my fleet -----------> *********


enemy fleet -------> *********


but now every combat scene look like this:

my fleet ------> *******   ******** <------ enemy fleet

never mined, did a fresh install, and that seams to have fixed the problem. my save games wont work anymore. but thats ok, have been looking forward to start a new game some time now anyway.

I've never seen this before, but I have occasionally seen battles where one of my ships inexplicably starts in the middle of the enemy line, or vice-versa.

Sorry i couldn't help Michael, i was looking through previous bug reports just to try and find something similar. A fresh reinstall is often the best cure, if not a painful one.

Nor had i qrtxian, in fact iv'e never noticed any issues in the combat screen, but then i always set it to 10X so pay little attention, so i may have missed something...
