windowblinds plug ins.

I've never been one much for actually using the WB plugins (like winamp controls, winmenu, clocks, etc..). I was just wondering how many people here really do find them usefull? Would you download a skin just because those controls are there? Would them not being included in the skin prevent you from downloading it? blah blah blah........

just curious *s*

Just my opinion, but I like my WB skins "straight up - no ice"...

Actually after using the Dinks skin I got a new-found appreciation from them. Especially Winmenu and WBamp.

It took be a bit to set up winmenu with all my commonly used apps but now its extremely handy.

Sylva, it's actually the other way around. I don«'t way no stickin plugins in my windows, and I don't use skins that have them.

Skins without plugins don't prevent me from loading a skin. However, I do prefer skins that have WBAmp. Wouldn't you be surprised if I said anything else?

Well...only one of mine here has the plugins....it's the oldest and also least popular [download-wise]...I mean, it has been here longer than the others [on Stardock, before Wincusto] but has less downloads than others which are a year or so younger...

hehe...MadIce *s*

I read somewhere that certain plug-ins actually slow down windows when they are in use but I can't find the article again. Does anyone here know where I can find that? If not, know which ones they are?
