[Bug] [Quests] Quests not completing properly

I had several quests refuse to finish last night.

First one was the Assassin's Blade. I went through the entire quest line killing all the way and when I finished was left with a basic long sword. Thought I missed up on the quest somewhere until about 70 turns later, when the sovereign entered a newly built city, it popped up a screen saying I completed the quest and the sword changed into upgraded version.

Second was the one where you chase a Garrote around. I dropped the Garrote and nothing happened. At least a 150 turns or so later. I tried revisiting the Quest source a few times.

Third was the Old Hag asking about Spider silk. Collected some silk, found some more nests, collected the silk from them and then nothing. 100 turns or so later and still nothing. I tried revisiting the Quest source a few times.

I've actually had a problem with assassins blade.  I would carry it, equip it, whatever, and move on to the target square, and nothing happens.  I'm not sure that I need the person who got the quest to actually do it?  in any case, I don't remember who got the quest?

Another quest that I can't complete is something about gathering horses.  I visited the two places that popped up, but when I go back to the taveler's camp, nothing happens.

If I need a specific character to visit the quests, then I'd definitely like to know that in an information screen somewhere...

I can confirm a bug with Hunting the Garrote. I have just killed the Garrote, and now I get an objective that tells me to "Destroy the Wildings" It doesn't give me a location, however. So either this location is hidden in FoW (Can quest locations be hidden in FoW?) or there is a bug with the quest.

I don't think locations can be hidden in the FoW - I think if you are assigned a quest location, that location and just around it is always revealed on the map.

I've had a failure with the dragons eye mercenary quest and the kill the slaver's quest. In each I complete the first part of the quest and then no secondary location or a return to the original spot does not move the quest to completion.

Also, a minor thing in the Alchemy quest:  Coins are struck, not printed. O:)

Nice variety of quests, look forward to more!

I can confirm the gathering horses quest will not complete for me.  Neither will the one where you hunt down spiders.  Both will spawn locations, but never progress.

In the case of the horse quest, 2 locations spawn.  Moving your champ over one and then the other produces the same result - nothing but the removal of that quest location icon for the horses from the map (but not the quest giver's location).  Loading from saves, it doesn't matter which one you clear first, neither will advance the quest.

In the case of the spider quest, two spider locations spawn initially, guarded by spiders.  You can clear the spiders and collect silk, that's fine.  Once the first one is cleared, the icon for that location is removed, but nothing else happens. After you clear the second spider location, 2 more locations will spawn on the map.  For these 2 locations, clearing them just removes the location icon from the map.  No new locations are spawned, and the quest cannot be completed.

The bard + dragon quest is bugged.  Sometimes it gives you an ability to use on dragons, sometimes it doesn't, choosing the same option (paying 10 Gildar for the song).

Another buggy quest is the one with the Dragon Statues.  I haven't worked out where that one is failing, but it cannot be completed.  Just stops a couple steps along the way, dont' recall the exact spot, however.

I defeated Ableix by Autoresolve, without reloading since going into the Wildlands, and I didn't get the Trophy and the Quest didn't complete.  There were no more monsters or locations left in the Wildlands.  So there may be something with autoresolve too when trying to complete quests, but I also think that a lot of quests are just bugged, even if you don't reload after you start them.
