thememanager won''''t recognize windows media player 9

I just did a clean install of windowsxp, with sp2 slipstreamed. wmp 9 comes standard with sp2, and it is instlaled on my computer fine, i can run it without any problems. after installing thememanager and trying to install suites though, i keep on getting a message saying windows media player is not detected on your system, do you want to download it... etc. I've tried downloading the installer and installing again, but it is still saying that i do not have wmp installed. Is this a known bug, and is there some setting or registry value i can change so that it will recognize my wmp installation?

btw, it worked fine and i had wmp 9 before i reinstalled windows, but i had upgraded it from version 8...

I don't have SP2 and theme manager does not recognize my WMP either.
Heck, the theme manager didn't even recognize windowblinds.

Do you have WMP as your default player and is it installed to it's default folder so it can find it?
In my theme manager, it does not show the previews of skins, but it lists them and when I hit apply, it seems nothing happens, but when I open up WMP the choosen skin has been applied. I also have WMP 10

I'm having the not recognizing windowblinds problem myself. Any ideas how to fix that?

I just reinstalled windowblinds. I guess theme manager broke a registry link. Theme Manager is always breaking something. I wish they would fix the bugs in that program.

The same thing happens with mine as well using WMP 10. The Cursor XP and Screen Saver previews don't show up either. Does any body out there know how to fix this?

Also, for some reason when I try to apply skins I've downloaded from wincustomize through the WMP skin chooser it doesn't work. But the strange thing is that the newly downloaded skins show up as choices in the WMP skin chooser, but they will not apply from there. It'll work if I apply them through theme manager though. Anybody know where I should be putting my downloaded skins for WMP so that I can apply them through theme manager AND WMP? A list of where to put files for all the different applications would be nice Thanx <
