go to Start menu type Power Options then click on it  when the window opens one of the 3 will be checked

Balanced , Highe Performance, Power saver  (Mine is High Performance) ok to the right of any of those click on CHANGE PLAN SETTINGS

in here click the down Arrow for TURN OFF DISPLAY change it to NEVER also you can set PUT THE COMPUTER TO SLEEP right under TURN OFF DISPLAY

 click SAVE CHANGES

also note: you may have to change settings under CHANGE ADVANCED POWER SETTINGS

in this list look at these options all have sub categories

---------

Multimedia settings

when sharing video click down arrow

set it to PREVENT IDLING TO SLEEP

 When Playing Video

   set it to OPTIMIZE QUALITY

--------

Display

 Turn off display after

Set it to NEVER < note even if you did this on the first page it may still be set to the time so check it.

----------

this one you may not have but if you do

PCI Express

 Link State Power Management

  Set it to OFF

 Click APPLY then ok

then click SAVE CHANGES

hope this helps

NOTE this is for Win 7 64bit  Vista may be a bit different  and 7 32bit ..

That's pretty much as intended.  Deskscapes does make your desktop look cool, but it's in the same paradigm as regular wallpaper.  Having a background image doesn't prevent the computer from going to sleep, so neither does Deskscapes.  You'll need to control that behavior elsewhere (see above).
