WindowFX 5 Coming Soon! Late?

Hello, I want to know your Road-map for WindowsFX 5, because the waiting starting to become very long...
I'll be happy, just with the Beta version!

Regards.

Rub it in, Brad.

There is no beta of version 5, at least not in my OD subscription.  Only days away, however.

k1 Indeed.

Its been released.  I have it downloaded and running.  Works great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tease....I don't see it to download anywhere.

Don't see it listed (as v5) in my store account, either.

It was up at 9am in the morning, it was then taken down, put back up in a different format on downloads page, and taken back down again.

I can still access the download though.  If you copy the address of another download link and change the last part, you may be able to download it:

I used your link and the download worked.  I got it too!

I wonder why it was pulled, though.

Link doesn't work, but I'd think Stardock/WinCustomize would object to your posting it anyway.

I'd suspect that if it was up, then taken down, there is a good reason.

The download link worked for me and I have WFX 5 beta 1 installed.  But it requires a serial number.  Oh well...

Yup.  Figured it out after posting.

Start menu animation doesn't work for me so far.  No matter what I choose, it doesn't animate on open.

I noticed that while there's a close animation configuration for menus, there isn't a way to configure the open animation.  There's no "Menu" tab.  In any case, menu animation doesn't work either.

Please do not post the private download links from the store. You saw it earlier because we were testing the download links.

The WindowFX 5 Beta 1 (v4.90) is now available for Object Desktop customers. WindowFX 4 customers who've purchased the standalone version between Sept 1, 2011 and now should also have the beta on their accounts (and access to the 5.0 release later this year). There is an upgrade path on the website (as soon as the pages are live) for WindowFX customers from prior to Sept 1 (or older versions of WindowFX). New purchases from here on out of the standalone get access to the beta and release version.

The majority of the new animations and effects are geared toward Windows 7 users. The animations, window controls, and effects that were previously available for Windows Vista/7 still work on Windows Vista, but not all the new ones. Windows XP users... can make use of the window control features.

A trial version of WindowFX 5 will be available on general release.

Don't miss the window flip and "wobbly windows" under the Misc animations section! (on Windows 7)

I may have too low a gfx card, wobbly windows is kinda choppy for me.

The start menu animations are  awesome!

There are no open animation for menus.

Thomas: What graphics card do you have?  It may be it simply isn't up to the job.

Wobbly Windows doesn't work and so does Window Flip.  It's enabled in WFX5, but it's not working.  Mind you, I have WB4 and DeskScapes running as well.  Not sure if there's a conflict.  Minimize/Maximize animations work, though.  Just not the new features.

What OS are you on?

It almost sounds like none of the new features are enabled on your machine.

It's working now.  The uninstall of WFX4 wasn't clean.  The process remained up and the DLLs remained locked.  I manually killed all that, deleted the files, installed WFX5 new and it's all working now.

Speaking of that - WFX4 should be uninstalled before installing WFX5 or can WFX5 be installed 'over' WFX4?

Uninstall, reboot, then install fresh.
