Good link Helen. My CS5 loads in 4 seconds and the adjustments can be made in PS so another program isn't needed here.

Thanks for the link anyway  as it may be useful for some.

Will it work for PS 7? Yeah ... I know ... I'm ancient.

If you mean what davyandjane posted, then it states it's a "Free Photoshop Tweak Utility for Adobe Photoshop version 3 through CS5"

Then I think I'll check it out.

PS7 should load pretty quickly anyway xD.

PS 7 does load pretty quick. I just wanted to know if it would work.

I imagine the concept is the same, modifying to stop loading of certain things.

PS 7 loads in about thirty seconds, sometimes faster. My CS 5 trial takes two to three times that and slightly OT ..... I recently downloaded a trial version of Cinema4D, a whopping one point seven gigs that took awhile to dl. Problem is it installed without a hitch but won't run. I get an exception error code so I uninstalled it. I kept the installer package hoping someone would have an idea as to how I can correct that.

Oh for the good old days when a man could make empty threats about beating his wife, and it was considered great comedy.:P
