When are we going to see these promised Pro updates?

I purchased Fences Pro within weeks of it becoming available because it was such a great tool and I really wanted the customisation features which were listed as "coming soon"

Well its been a couple of years now and apart from a few bug fixes there seems to have been no development at all.  Last year we was told that the Fences Pro features would be coming in 2011 but we are now running out of time.

Whats going on?

Fences is still in development but other things have taken priority.  We hope to have more information to release in the future.

Stardock releases updates when they are ready to be released, and only after thorough testing... It's worth the wait. :)

Just bought pro version last month.  Wow do I regret it.  I didn't realize StarDock had abandoned the coming soon features.  I only bought it to customize the look of each fence.  Obviously they're not going to invest any significant time in this product any longer.

So my real complaint now is TAKE DOWN COMING SOON.  Coming soon means...well soon... not years.  Please.

I didn't say the product had been abandon. I see there have been updates and bug fixes.  I'm strictly referring to the Coming Soon features.   If I'm wrong about my claim on those- prove me wrong and release them.  Otherwise I have over a year of a 'coming soon' promise to back me up.

It's still being worked on.  Why did you buy the product "last month" if you were concerned about a "year of a 'coming soon' promise"? If you are that unhappy with the product, please contact sales@stardock.com and request a refund.  Reference this thread.

Why? It doesn't work? Did you buy it only because you might be able to customize it beyond it's ability to customize itself now to almost any color scheme and level of transparency? It sounds like you knowingly bought something that didn't do what you wanted it to do and that it's main purpose was just a by product.

Based on that, I might have regrets if I knowingly bought something that already didn't do the one thing I wanted it to do and purchased it for to begin with. Hopefully though, if I spent my money in such a fashion, I wouldn't brag about it. Or complain about my choices.

I think its a shame.  I see releases such as Tiles and wonder if these these are the things which have taken priority? 

I know I couldn't just jump ship onto other projects at work because we also have customers and customers tend to purchase your other products when they have received good service for their money on the products they have already got from you. 

I think most Fences Pro customers are going to be disappointed and normally I wouldn't write in about things but this is poor service and false advertisement.
