Can't get to work "aero peek" on OD Plus 2.1

Windows 7 Pro, 64 bits, 32 bits color, 4 Gb RAM

Please, anyone, I need help on getting to work Object Desktop's "aero peek" (plus 2.1).

I do check the "Enable Aero Peek on running task" chekbox on "Settings".

I expect the same "effect" the Windows 7 toolbar already has, the small preview window showing the application instances and running state.

I'm a registered user and bought many stardock products (not games)

Hi everyone,

I am still having the issue of not being able to use the aero peek preview. I am on Windows 7 64bit.

 

I downloaded and installed the latest version from my account, but still no luck.

File version: 2.1.0.743

Date modified: 11/11/2011

Is that the latest version, or did the install not complete correctly?

 

I'd love to be able to use the peek feature as it is a feature of the windows bar that I use a lot.

That modified date doesn't look right.  Try deleting any installers you have for OD and download a fresh copy:

I got it to work.

I uninstalled, then manually deleted every registry that had to do with "objectdock".

Reinstalled, and now it is working!

The file version and date of modification is still the same though as in my post above.

I think I see where I got mixed up, I was thinking that was the date on the installer.  *facepalm*

Sorry to resurrect the dead, but this thread is exactly what my issue is now. I cannot for the life of me get objectdock to use the aero peek feature. I had objectdock 2.0 working fine with it, but once I used the beta stardock central app to install OD 2.01, the aero peek feature seems to be broken.

I've done what #26 said with no luck. Uninstalled impulse since I realized it was now gamestop and deleted every registry entry I could find on that as well.

 

Windows 7 ultimate X64

I'm having the same problem on my computer. I've been using the free version of ob for a while now and just purchased the pro a week ago. I have 64bit as well. Hope someone can help-

 

Can you go over the settings again so I can double check that?

Sorry I'm just now getting back to this- there was no need to uninstall free version as I purchased the pro on a new laptop- 64bit. No, I haven't tried the zapper- don't really want to lose anything in my ob- but then again it keeps having to close anyway saying it's encountered a problem, so I might when I have time. In other words, I'm having more problems than just the peek
