Weather Gadgets - invalid location

I can't seem to get any of the weather gadgets (widgets?) that I have downloaded so far to work. Here is the message:

This doesn't appear to be a valid zip code.

Please try again.

I downloaded another by RedneckDude - his works. Wonder why I got that error (the one I kept was Silica, tossed the other)

This is because the gallery is full of non working, non compliant weather widgets.

 

sViz, Richard Mohler, and I are the only ones that I know of with working, TOS compliant weather widgets and gadgets in our galleries.

 

Most others are either non working, or non compliant ones.

 

TWC recently pulled their feed again, so any TWC weather will be faulty.
