SOUND PACKAGER WON'T RUN

When is Stardock going to fix this problem!

Obviously by other posts on this forum, this is a problem with the Sound Packager program.  When will a fix come out for this error!?  What is it going to take?  A class action law suit?  I have read members with Windows XP, Windows 7 32 bit, Windows 7 64 bit.  It doesn't matter, the program just WILL NOT RUN after it is installed.  I submitted a trouble tickent only to receive an email stating that due to lack of communication, they were going to close my ticket out.

They have those tickets set up to auto-close.  When you get one of those emails you just need to reply to it to open the ticket back up.  You may or may not go through that loop more than once, just keep replying to it each time.  It may take a little patience but they do seem to work their way through things.  Every time you send them an email otherwise though it resets you in their queue, so you don't want to just send them an email every day.

I'm afraid I can't help you with Sound Packager though, other than to say my experience with it on XP was that it required a logon with full Admin privileges.

Sound Packager is working on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit system.

When the software fist came out I do remember some problems but I thought they were all cleared up.  One thing to keep in mind is that we all set up our computers differently.  It's possible that you may have a third party piece of software that could be the problem with Sound Packager not working.

What you may want to do, especially since you posted under Stardock Support, is reference your trouble ticket number here.  That way a support person can look it up and then try to see what they can do to help.  :sun:
