What Forum Do I Ask About Tiles?

Hello,

   I have recently installed Tiles & I have no idea where to ask questions concerning it.  My version of Tiles doesn't look like the current version that I have.  I have recently renewed my subscription & I have the "Object Desktop Upgrade", but I only see the beta version available in my products available.

 

Maybe I'm confused :(

There is no specific forum for Tiles. As it is part of ODNT, asking under General is ok to get more attention, or if Support is needed, then under "Support" > "Object Desktop".

As long as you're looking on the Stardock/My Account/Products page and not trying to use Impulse, that's the current version.  The current is a beta.

Thanks for your help guys...But...Why does the one I have, which I am getting from "Stardock/My Account/Products page" not look like screen shots I've seen.  Like mine doesn't include a selector for "Metro"...It also asks for username/password to activate it...Which it won't accept anything I put in it.  Even if I tell it I've forgotten the password, it will just keep telling me that I've inputted the wrong password in.

 

Is this just because it's still beta?

 

Sorry for so many questions, but your help is much appreciated.

I'm thinking that to activate it wants your username (what you log on to your Products page with) and the serial number (which shows on your Products page right above the Tiles download link).  And yes that will unlock certain features.

I'm sure I don't need to say this, but I'll say it anyway to be proactive: Do NOT put anything specific in this thread that you're inputting when you're trying to activate, whether it's working or not.

     I appreciate your help...For some reason it wasn't letting me activate anything yesterday until later on in the evening.  So, I was only getting the basic install, with nothing else.

Now it has let me activate the extras & now it looks like the one they show.  And it is nice:)

Since Tiles is going to be the Killer App for Windows 8, the least SD/WC can do is give it it's own forum.  ;)
