CFX has always done this in Windows 7 for me. The cursor reverts to windows default on m/o of the thumbnails, and hides on m/o of the show desktop. I don't know if it's a bug or not, I'm just saying it appears to be normal.

YEAAA.. i use to get normal cursors too, but not it disappear entirely. it didnt change to normal window cursors too

got the same god damned problem as wizard ,this is ridiculous

we pay good money so i expect this to be taken care of asap !!!

you hover over a program on the taskbar and a small thumbnail window opens you get your damned default cursor , you hover over show desktop it disappears like magic

-.-', happy im not the only one afterall...

hello???????

That might just be 'expected' behavior since the thumbnail is not really 'on' the desktop 'layer'.

Also, if you have a problem, address it with support@stardock.com . They'll be glad to help you. Be sure to include the url of this thread.

thanks will do asap !!

p.s: expected behaviour ???? ....a cursor program thats supposed to replace the default cursor but fails to do so when you simply hover over a taskbar item

or even worse disappears completely when you hover over show desktop?

thread has been included with the support ticket ive sent and if anybody is reading this thread do us all a favour and sign up and add youre comments , so stardock can see this isnt something new or that only a couple people are having , that its a bug with theyre product that ....WE

Man, is this really necessary? I know you're not worried about offending me, but I do find this very offensive. I just wish we could say what needs saying without taking God's name in vain.

As for the cursor disappearing when you mouseover "show desktop", that is a Windows thing, not a CFX thing.

yeah? ....never noticed, but the cursor jumping back to default while hovering over a taskbar item and moving your mouse cursor into the thumbnail ..sure as hell isnt :annoyed:

offended you o_O ? did i in any way mention youre name ....N O !

Since this IS the support section, any non-support related discussion would be inappropriate. Swearing and demanding tones are also inapproriate, imo. A polite, detailed bug report is welcomed, however. (and may get faster results)

I try to help out where I can but the thread actually "belongs" to the OP.

You brought religion into this discussion by using His name. I won't return here and argue it with you. You have a right to your views and this isn't the place.

O:)

Correct.

Please keep any discussion on the support section to issues with the program.

Not on my Windows 7 it doesn't.  And I agree CursorFX needs some updating it doesn't work so well with WIN 7.

OMG, Zubas, it all happens after stardock discontinue associate their software to impulse, before that installing via impulse, Cursorfx would change to normal window cursors when hover to thumbnail and show desktop. Now after installing directly from the standalone file Cursorsfx cursors just disappear instead of changing it to NORMAL WINDOW CURSORS. and i am FORCED to disable cursorsFX due to that I couldnt see the cursors at all, it's getting very annoying.. i will have to estimate where my cursors went,, where to click to close the folder etc. (windows 7) Please CursorsFX dev team.. Please fix this problem ASAP. and ignore thoese ignorant people from the above post saying it's perfectly normal. Simply because they are not using windows 7 or they do not us cursorsfx. THANK YOU.

While we get this looked at, remember that [ctrl]+[shift]+c will temporarily disable/enable CursorFX.

We just fixed it internally. The update should be up shortly. Thanks for the report.

Great news, Alberto. Will that update be in the 'store' and on Impulse as well?

It will likely be in both places but for sure on the store.  :)

Uninstalled and reinstalled through Impulse... same problems present.

Will try the store when someone @ SD lets us know the fix is up. Thanks for bringing it to Alberto's attention, Zu.
