A Thought Occurs

I'm about to start working on some Fett-esque drive icons (for the third time in as many days, because they're harder to make than I had anticipated), and I just realised that I might have to ask permission to make them in the first place. Will that be the case, or not? I'm not sure on this one. :S

edit: Actually, I'm thinking that if the hard drives look okay(ish) I might make some folders to go with them. So would I be better off asking for a kind of blanket permission?

If you draw each image yourself, then you actually do not have to ask for permission at all. However, it would still be a good idea (and a courtesy to MikeB) to gain his permission IF you intend to upload your efforts. If these are intended for personal use only, then you can do what ever you want.

Thanks 2of3.

Well as far as uploading them for others to use, I'll wait and see what they look like then post a picture of them and see what the community thinks of them. If the community feels they're good enough to upload, so be it.

Would I need permission to show them in a screenshot? Does that count as uploading?
