Can't find 'Save Themes' in Objectdock

Freeware User

Hi Everyone!

I'm a freeware Objectdock user, and I've been trying everywhere to find out if there's a way to save my dock settings etc into a theme. In several places I read about going to settings and selecting a 'theme tab.'

Only prob is- I've done that- several times. No matter how hard I look there is NO 'theme' tab in the settings! I also looked in the programs folder and I can't find any theme folder- only the backgrounds folder.

Is this because I haven't got the paid program? Or is there something I'm missing?

Please help. I'll have try other programs if I can't customize/save objectdock.

Thanks.

In OD1.9 you had a theme tab, went there and selected Save current dock.

IN ODPlus 2:  Open OD config and go to the settings tab. Select troubleshooting options. There you'l see "Open my ObjectDock settings folder so I can backup my setttings." Make copies of those files and save someplace. (make a folder and name it whatever you want to name your theme.) Repeat for as many themes as you want. Replace the files in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus with your theme files to reload your themes.

That's how it's done now in the new improved version of ODPlus.

No problem. It's old info but still relevant. I'm glad it was helpful to you.

The method is so perfect, it hasn't been improved upon since. :-"
