WinMe Users, PLEASE READ!!!

Hello everyone,

As most of you WinMe users, I'm also excited about turning my OSs GUI into the one which comes with WinXP. And thanks to some components, I have been able to, too. But I have tried a MILLION things, spent MILLION hours, to somehow turn my taskbar into a WinXP too, but NOTHING has worked. DesktopX messes up the whole interface and some other programs do the same! So please, if you could be kind enough, and had a similar expereince, please tell in detail how I can accomplish the XP look that is, which theme to download for which program, and modifications are to be made. Please guys, I'm desperate, I don't remember do anything, except this for the last few weeks, on the Internet! Thanks in advance!

You can make it look like XP, but ME (since it is built on 98 technology) will never *be* like XP (which is built on 2000 technology).

You can use WindowBlinds to skin you Windows. Or get the whole Object Desktop package and go to town.

Or, buy XP

Thank you for your suggestions guys, but I think I'm already aware of them. Option 1: Buying XP, well I don't wanna buy it, cause I don't wish to use it as yet. Option 2: Get ObjectDesktop. Well, I did get most of it, but what I don't try I don't buy, for example, ObjectBar. I already have DesktopX and Blinds and Icon, but still I'm unable to get the taskbar look like XP, please help me!!! Thank you for reading!

If you already bought those 3, then you have already spent more than Object Desktop Costs

ObjectBar is the answer to your problems, unfortuantely, it's only available on the Object Desktop Network at the moment. If you've already bought both WindowBlinds and DesktopX though, for an extra $10 you could have had the whole Object Desktop suite. I don't know if Stardock offer any kind of license upgrade scheme from individual products to OD, but if they do, then that's your best option, if not, OD is well worth $50 anyway, and next month, WindowBlinds will move to version 3, which will have many improvements, and I imagine that your license is only for WindowBlinds v2.

Guys, I know this might sound stupid, but can any of you guys let me try your ObjectBar? It is just a question, please get mad at this. Thank you!

UT: Windowblinsd is 20$, Desktop X is 20$, IconPackager is 20$... That's 60$ in total, while the complete Object Desktop suite is only 50$. Even if you don't like Objectbar after you've purchased OBN, you're still saving 10$, just for the 3 apps you actually use.

But Objectbar will be out very soon for general public, so be a little patient or upgrade to Object Desktop.
