I will try to keep this short and to the point. There have been a lot of changes in my life that have happened quickly. I have enjoyed my time at wincustomize and feel like I am only beginning to fit in with the crowd. I have met some really solid people here many of which have been a big help to me getting my feet wet in the world of skinning. I will be the first to admit that I am not that good but that is not whats important now. Because of my circumstances I will no longer be contributing to wincustomize. I can no longer devote any time to this great community. I have decided to pull all of my uploaded skins for a couple of reasons. I cannot continue to offer support, answer comments or update my skins so I felt the right thing to do was not allow people to upload them. I will however provide the skins to anyone that would like to upload them under your name. I will give you all the graphics which including layered and non layered psd files. The only stipulation is that you need to answer comments, offer support and update as necessary. These files will be given with full permission for you to do with them as you wish. I will not be disappointed if no one wants them. I only thought I should offer.

I will miss everyone here. I want to thank you all and especially those that have offered encouragement and kind words when I needed it. I will be visiting as often as I can to checkout and download new skins however as time goes on that will be less too.

ken, I'm sorry to see you go ... why not just take a break until you can get situated and organized. Once you pull your skins, that's seen in a different light.

Why not just take a needed sabbatical, and return when you wish? You'll always be welcome, you know. :)

If it's your final decision you no longer wish to be a member of this Community, what can I wish you more than good luck and good health?

I'm rather unhappy to see you take this step, though. :(

Ken, we're sorry to see you leave, particularly if it's due to "circumstances".

I'm going to be a grandmother in October...and because of my impending home foreclosure, I'll be closer to my grandchild.  In the mean time, I'm saving tons on my grocery expenses because my husband's garden is kickin' it!

As others have said, why not just leave your gallery up, and drop in when circumstances permit? You'll always be welcome back.

One thing I don't understand and I've seen similar actions from others here before is why you would remove all your stuff? Granted, circumstances are such that you won't be able to do any skinning now and I hope that situation is resolved soon, but there really is no reason to pull all your skins. Let people enjoy what you have created. That in itself will keep you here even if you are not here. Think about what a pain it'll be when you come back and have to upload everything again. I hope your situation improves. You'll be missed my friend.  v_v

it's not just that.... I see a gallery of one's work rather like leaving footprints in the sand.... a record of your journey through WC.... an evolution of skills... a history of friendships made....

I often go back to the beginning of a skinner's gallery to see where they started from... it's really interesting to see how they've grown... it's always really disappointing when people wipe their work for whatever reason... even when they delete work because they think it is too out of date...... but I suppose that is up to the individual... they have their reasons...

Not good news at all. :(   I'll miss you. Hang on to your work, store it somewhere safe so you can upload it again later. Don't make this a permanent goodbye, just come back when you can.

Thank you all for your kind words. I appreciate you all. For those that are bothered I deleted my stuff I want you to know that I am in the process of uploading again. I will not be uploading everything but will choose some of the better skins that people seemed to like best.
