[1.2][bug] fast-moving stacks lose moves when you load a save

If I load a save game, stacks of heroes who should have 6 or seven moves only have two for that turn.  Always happens for several versions now.  Sorry I didn't get around to posting while it was still in beta.

XP, 32 bit.  No mods.  Playing with cheats enabled but not actually using any cheats.

my steps to create these files:

clean start, load old save "before"

next-turn, respond to questions, verify that sovie stack has 7 moves

save "after"

exit

rename debug.err  to "debug-before.err"

run

load "after";  verify that sovie stack has only 2 moves

exit

rename debug.err  to "debug-after.err"

 

BTW, if you rename "debug.err" too soon after you "exit", you will end up with another "debug.err" without even running the game again.  The new one contains whatever came up after the rename and before the game really, finally, finally shut down.  Can be 400+ KB.

I have a post on this here from the 1.19 beta tests: https://forums.elementalgame.com/406808. To give further credit, StevenAus reported it long before my post...not sure why a fresh load sets them at 2.
