Elemental 1.2 update error

I upgraded to Elemental 1.2 this morning, through Impulse, and had two log files pop up on the screen, saying there was an error activating something and that I needed to re-activate. I figured I could open the files later, since they were just text, and closed the notepad windows. I then did a right-click on Elemental in Impulse and chose re-activate, but nothing happened as far as I could tell. When I right-click on Elemental I still see an option to re-activate. So I looked in my Elemental directory, but couldn't find the log files (sdactivate....something).

I decided to see if the game would run, and it appears to run ok. Version 1.2 shows in the lower left corner. But I still don't know what happened, exactly. Can anyone tell me where I can find the log files that the update generated? Or does anyone know what happened?

We waited for so long to play this game under minimun conditions and 1.2 didnt solve it. Well now i dont have to reboot the game every turn but every 4 turns. Great achivment anyway.

 Really? What is this "we" stuff? Where are your posts with your crash files? If the game is crashing on your computer, and you never send them any crash reports, why do you expect it to get better? I'm sorry that you're having a problem, but really. How does saying "i have to reboot the game every turn" help the devs to fix the problem? You don't even say what problem you're running into.

Is the game crashing?

Is it going slow?

Is it doing something weird that you have to restart the game to fix?

 

Give them SOMETHING to work on.
