More application objects please!

There are many DX themes and objects based on games, food, and other topics. Those objects are interesting but they are difficult to be included in the DX themes. And the DX theme based on games are difficult to be customized. So i suggest to creat more objects related with applications. I am appreciated with MATLAB animated ICON by Chong Lip Min. How about Mathematica? SmartDraw? Origin? etc?

Go ahead, make them. Making zoomers really isn't hard at all.

Any program that make alpha-blended (transparent) PNG files. Photoshop will do, or Paintshop Pro, or Corel. You just need to create your original image bigger, then make a copy of it a little smaller and place it next to it, then another yet smaller again, etc. Place all your animation images next to each other in the same file. Then put the effects you want (glow, dorp shadow, whatever). And save as a 24 bits PNG with transparency support. You can then create your new object in DX using that image.

I suggest you just look at existing zoomer objects and see how they are made. You'll catch on quickly.

Mormegil's tutorial is here https://www.stardock.net/people/fauxs-x/Tutorials/Creating%20Simple%20DX%20Zoomers.cdr but it's a Corel Draw file (.cdr).
The best is still to look at the files in your user_currenttheme directory and learn. Then use your imagination.
