If you Download a skin PLEASE "rate" it ! ( where the stars are beneath the skin ) Almost all of us skinners do this Free 4 you 2 download, and it seems a small request that you RATE the skin. Ofcourse we´re skinning 4 ourselves and because we like it, but the rating function is the only way 2 really know what YOU think.

I will give you a piece of advice.  Don't concern yourself over ratings that much.  Most people don't rate a skin, they just come and download and maybe some will leave a comment.  If you want real feedback about a skin, it is much better to post a question in the forum.

If you want to know what people think look at your download count.  Oh...and if you really are skinning for yourself...then don't worry about any of it. ;)

The thing is this... Some people might actually "skip over" Downloading the one skin because of a poor rating... you look @ the rating not the downloadcount... Therefore I think you don´t get a fair judgement either way. hmmm...:|

Then ya have to love those that leave a comment and tell ya what a great skin it is and didn't even download it or rate it a 2.  Remember the old saying ...Talk is cheap.

Neone6:using download count from your skin streamlight, 6054 total downloads, 5627 by anonymous users, these are unregistered users who can not rate or comment on a skin. For registered users, if I remember correctly you must be a WC subscriber or Apprentice level to be able to rate.

Well, alot of folks really CANT rate a skin yet until they become a subscriber.  Ever since I subscribed I make a point to rate the skin-    and I agree with Island Dog-   it's the least thing someone can do -especially when you are going to be enjoying someone's skin for free.

 

Right now I am really irritated because I am trying to download more skins this evening but for some reason , even though I'm logged in,   the Server isnt permitting any downloads.   I keep getting the message for every skin I try to download:    "Error, the Network Path is not Found"   

So looks like I won't be able to download any skins for awhile :-(

I don't go by the Rating or the Download count..

I go by IF it looks good to me..

I don't rate them any more
