Retitling

I get a bit frustrated. There are so many awesome DX themes that I would love to use, but I can't seem to be able to customize them to my needs. I have been learning a lot of this through trial and error, but I can't seem to find out how to change the titles on some of the buttons or popups, etc. I have looked through every area of the inner workings, but not finding a place to make that kind of change. Help

some of the titles are actually part of the graphics and can't be changed without editting the graphics.

there are 3 types of titles/labels
1)the inherent labels for every object. these can be set easily on the first tab, but are rarely used because they aren't very flexible
2)extra object titles/labels. sometime to get over the limits of the normal labeles an author makes a seperate object that saysa what he wants it to. These can be changed normally by setting the text in the states tab, but often the text is set by a script making the title dynamic and in order to change it you have to change the script
3)applied labels/titles. these have been applied to the graphics in a photo/graphic editor. by doing this the author escapes the limits of the inherent labels, and uses less memory and is easier to make than the extra labels. these you can change but you have to edit the graphics, and you have to know how to edit the graphics.

You did answer it. Thank you. Wish there were a way to import those different componets to change or adapt the graphics.
