No email after purchase

I purchased Sail Simulator 2010 earlier this morning and have yet to receive any emails from Stardock about it.

They have already taken my money out of paypal and yes, my paypal email is the same as my stardock/impulse email.

I have emailed support, but find it frustrating that I will have to wait till monday to play my game.  I have never had a similiar problem on steam.

Have you, by any chance, checked your spam mail? The email might have been dumped there.

i Understand your problem i just bought the expation packs for sins of a solar empire this morning and i too have not recieved the e-mail to download the game and i still do not know what to do specially since impulse doesnt have a number you can call it is all done by e-mail i wish i just went out and bought the game now

Some purchases can be delayed until information can be confirmed to protect your credit. Not saying this is the case for your purchase but it could be.

Support/sales will be able to sort it out in the morning.

Please post your support ticket number here and I will try and make them aware of this as soon as they are available.

Iv'e got the same thing going on. Got a game this morning, never got an e-mail. ran around the site trying to figure it out but they really don't give you much to work with. No phone number, no real help center, but they sure as hell were quick enough to take my money.  I like impulse because i can get things impulsivly! if they make us wait, then i may as well walk down the street and buy a hard copy off the shelf.

I've been Stardock/Impulse customer for years, using same account, same credit card info and yet waiting for bloody e-mail to come through.

But now I choose NOT to be a customer who's forced to deal with an outdated ordering system, bad service and pathetic replies on community board.

 

What am I doing here? Just venting my frustration, I wish I could simply cancel my order and forget about Impulse...

For your information, I do not work for Stardock. I volunteer my time trying to assist those that are experiencing issues with Stardock products and purchases.

My response was directed to the original op of this post - john57 and I do not recall you having posted a request in the forums for assistance from Stardock.

If you wish to cancel your order then email sales@stardock.com and they will be glad to help you with that.

If you haven't received an e-mail after ordering, it's likely one of a few things has happened:

1.) The message was caught by smap/junkmail filters.

2.) The order was placed under a different address.

3.) As Hankers said, there was a problem with the order where it was not processed.  In this case, you should not see a charge on your Card/PayPal account (although you may see an authorization for the funds.)

You can always check your past orders by logging in with your Impulse account and visiting this page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/orders  This will allow you to view the receipts that would have been mailed to you.  If you need download links for skins/themes, you can get them here: https://forums.stardock.com/account/regs  and if you need to have your serials resent, you can do so here: https://www.stardock.com/support/ and can also view them on the registrations page in Impulse (Help icon > Register a product with Impulse...) or by right clicking the title in Impulse and selecting "View Registration".

As you can see, there are a number of ways provided to retrieve your account information, so you should never need to wait for a support ticket reply simply to get this information.  In the case of order issues, we ask that you please be patient and bear with us, and we will address any issues with the order as soon as possible.

Same thing happened to me, no receipt, no code in email. Got my product key from here: https://www.stardock.com/support/
