What's next for E:WoM?

We have been told a good bit about E:FE and that is looking good.

But what can we expect to see in 1.3 of WoM?

And maybe beyond that?

Other than fixes, can we get some hints on improvements/refinements?

I believe that Frog said that 1.3 would be a content patch for WoM.  What that content would be exactly, no idea.  Quest and gear improvememnts, additions and balancing would be fantastic.

1.3 is going to be primarily gameplay.  v1.2's only point is to try to eliminate the last vestiges of memory issues so that we can start evaluating larger maps, more content, etc. in the world.

This sounds great. It is good to know that v1.2 will address these memory issues, though I am excited to see some gameplay stuff come in v1.3.

That sounds great. :) I“vent played E: WoM for awhile. Because i played it so much till 1.1 and for 2 weeks after 1.1 came out. I got a little bit bored after that. New gameplay improvements, new content etc. will bring me back. :)

And.... *finger crossed* for E: FE :)

Is it possible to have convoys to protect caravans?  When the monsters spawn it just gets boring getting them killed off and having to create new ones.  Also, the convoys can battle and level up as well.

Trade ships that trade harbour to harbour would be sweet. But then again, they would have to teach the AI to build harbours.I have never seen any harbours but my own.

On a related note to the dev's, maybe adding in Sea monster spawns or sea resources ( food primarily like fish or whales ) would encourage people to actually build harbors and ships.  Ship "tactical" combat would be interessting, and the quest for food for population growth would be a great incentive to explore the waterways, which now act only as "super mountains" in separating empires and land masses.

I know that some time back there was talk of an expansion that would have (heavy) emphasis on the maritime aspects of the game.

I don't know if that is still true or not.

I would still like some hints on what aspects of the game are being looked at for improvement.

Saw this and had forgotten about it. Even though parts of the list are somewhat vague:

Still nothing mentioned about some of the primary sources of frustration, e.g. caravans and the shop.
